I think Mark summed up the genius of CMS very well. I also agree with his desire to see the Church proclaim what we are for (Christ, Truth, Grace, Justice, etc.) rather than what we are against (what’s next on the boycott list?). Keep it up guys.
Yes, Mark…You summed up my feelings when I first found ‘Church Marketing Sucks’. THEY GET IT! It was affirming to realize I’m not alone in thinking that good marketing–good presentation–can enhance the Gospel and even make a congregation feel good about itself.
