There is such a great need for a church analization study here in Chicago. I along with many friends and stranger have been victims of what you can call spiritual abuse and manipulation. I was a member along with many friends of a hispanic church that treated it’s members poorly and once a member chose to left the church they were outcast by the pastors and the pastors manipulated the congregation to discontinue friendship with anyone who left the church. Those who left the church have been lied about, spoken horribly about and suffered spiritual abuse. I believe these and other pastors should get interviewed and a story written. Spiritual abusive in the church today…..

You are doing a great thing.
I’ve seen so many blogs & posts from the emerging church set who want to throw the baby out with the bathwater.
I’m thankful that you are trying to push the imperfect vessel that the modern church is into a better place.

  3. I agree with Paul.

I’m happy that your site also speaks to the churches that aren’t trying to throw out the baby or the water.

Too many of us are content to sit in a cold soapy bath that is leaving scum marks around the tub.
