2013 Church Communciation Survey Results

Earlier this year we conducted a church communications survey and we’ve started to share the early results. Over at Church Marketing Sucks we’re sharing some details about church communicators and they churches they serve, including some fancy graphics. Here’s a quick glimpse at the numbers:

  • 84% of church communicators have completed bachelor’s degrees or more. 22% completed graduate school.
  • 22% have more than 10 years of experience. Though a big chunk, 11%, are just getting started with less than a year of experience.
  • While most church communicators are full time (58%), there is a sizable volunteer (21%) and part-time contingent (17% combined).
